Five days in Bangkok
Following comments made during the last Bangkok International Book Fair. The Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT) have decided to reduce the number of days of the International Book Fair 2008, from twelve to just five days.

 About the Thai Publishing Industry 2006
           Publishing business in Thailand has continuously grown no less than 10% since 2003. In estimated market value of trade book sales in 2006 was around 17 billion baht, of which 88% were obtained from the sales by 110 large and medium publishing houses. The rest was from the trade sales by 382 small size registered publisher members of the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand.
